Posted - 23 Apr 2012 : 23:22:03 Hey all,
I've an interview for the undergrad in Dietetics in the University of Hertfordshire next Monday. I accepted the invitation. However I went to view the fees and it said £7,800 for 2012/13. I thought it was covered by the NHS no?? Is it £7,800 every year for 3 years? I don't think I could afford that on top of living expenses.
Does anyone know if I can get any help with my fees? I'm Irish and already have a degree from an Irish University.
Thnaks, CeeCee

Posted - 05 May 2012 : 01:33:46 Ummmm it was 1st choice for the BSc Course. Ideally I would have got on the PG Course at Leeds which is a lot closer to home for me. But Its what I want to do so can't complain ! |

Ive been offered an Unconditional Plate at Hertfordshire. I am over the moon !
Not accepted the place yet as I need to think about accommodation and make sure financially I am okay so looking at the NHS Bursary. I believe you can also apply for a Student Grant/Bursary aswell ? Is this correct |

Posted - 01 May 2012 : 23:35:46 I was in a Kitchen ? There was one lad who was in the room of 8 in total but was for the Nutrition Course. Commenced at 1pm
Had a talk about the course, then we were left for 15 minutes or so by a technician who talked to us about the course, facilities and showes us the cool kitchen which had worktops etc which could be raised/lowered for individuals etc.
Then the Group Meeting upstairs !
Shown around the facilities was next |

Posted - 01 May 2012 : 19:29:51 CeeCee - I was a bit like yourself as my email stated it was a 20 Minute one to one interview but then my letter said it was a group interview.
Were you in the same Group Interview as myself Room E304 ? |

Posted - 01 May 2012 : 15:58:39 Thanks IndulgentFoodie, they said they had changed the format to a group interview and thought we all should have received that in our letter. I have yet to receive a letter so it prob says so on that. I wasn't going to argue/complain as I really want this Uni!!
Everyone going for it were really lovely so I hope they all do well, some had lots of offers from other college and lots of experience so they'll all go far for sure!
