Posted - 17 Jun 2012 : 16:05:11 Hi there,
I'm just wondering how do the NHS pay your tuition fees for the BSc Dietetics. Do the college contact them with a list of names for the course or must I contact someone about it? Is there forms to fill out and is there a deadline?
confused.com Thanks a mill... CeeCee

Posted - 21 Jun 2012 : 11:56:10 Ooops .... Well I have only sent part of my Evidence in any case. They still require a Tenancy Agreement etc so hopefully by the time that arrives my invite will have arrived and it will all be okay. |

Posted - 21 Jun 2012 : 10:17:29 Hi MM087,
You should have waited until you received your invite. I was reading the facebook page for NHS bursaries and someone had done the same as you. The NHS said they would assess the application but they may have to amend it at a later date with the correct details.
"I've just been reading the comments on here and I didn't realise new starters had to receive an email first inviting them to apply for a bursary to start in september I've alread done my application and sent me evidence off the bursary dsa and childcare :/ is that ok or what will happen?"
-"We will still assess your application. It is advisable to wait for your invite. If you have applied before we have your details and term dates from your Uni, we will only assess you at 30 weeks and your course may be longer than this. We will amend your award once details are received. Thanks Anna [NHS Bursaries]" |

Posted - 20 Jun 2012 : 13:13:01 Hi Ceecee, I have a place at Leeds Met and I have been sent my forms online. I sent of the required evidence and then received my notification of bursary entitlement yesterday. They are super fast at processing the forms so you have nothing to worry about. Apparently it could be as late as mid July that you receive the forms. Have you send of everything for you CRB form? |

Posted - 17 Jun 2012 : 23:03:42 Hi CeeCee,
I would forget about the fees part. From what I have learned from the NHS and Chester uni, if you are accepted onto the course the University will inform the NHS of this and you shoud receive an email from them (the NHS) instructing you on how to go about setting up your student bursary. If - at the time you applied - your place is NHS funded then you don't have to do anything. I imagine that when you register in September it will be on record.
