Hi guys, I applied through UCAS to Herts, Kings College, London Met, Plymouth, Surrey. I also applied for post grad places (as I am a Biology graduate) at London Met, UWIC, Chester and Leeds Met. I have been offered a place at Herts following an interview and think I am going to take it since I would like to stay in the South East, and its only 3 years rather then having to do a 4 year UG course. |

The day after i posted that i got a letter from Herts asking me to an invterview on the 4th of Jan! Any tips for me?
Also got letters from Notts, Leeds, Plymouth and Coventry pretty much saying they wont be amking decisions until they've received all of the application in Jan.
Still, i suppose i no longer have to check track everyday! |

Yes I'm awaiting a reply from Plymouth - they are my favourite choice.
Does anyone know by what date they heard anything from Plymouth last year?
I was looking for this thread from last year but I can't find a search bar on this site?
Good luck to everyone!
The access course is really good. It is very much what you put in your get out. I'm enjoying it and learning lots.
I love food :) |

Hi everyone! I've been offered places on the undergraduate courses for Surrey and Hertfordshire following interviews. Sorry studentdan I didnt reply before yours, how did it go? Both interviews were nothing to worry about, just asking about when you have shown team work, when you have developed communication skills, why you want to study dietetics etc. I'm still waiting to hear from all the postgrad and other undergrad courses x |

CONGRATS Bec!! Great to know your interview Q'S. Is it the same for Post Grad too? Did you hear anything from UWIC ? I have M.Sc in food-science and I have applied only for Postgrad only at UWIC as I want to stay in cardiff. I have started to worry a bit now! x |

Hi,
I am currently in my final year of a Food, Quality, Safety and Nutrition degree and I have applied to do postgrad dietetics at Chester, Leeds and Cardiff.
Has anyone who has applied to the same degrees received an interview yet? Thanks |

Hi nessy,
Which uni is your first preference? I've applied to Leeds and Chester, still not heard anything. Most likely hear from them late Feb or possilbly early March. I wanna know now! lol.
Also, did you manage to get related work experience before applying?

Hi AS,
Chester is my preference, I phoned them yesterday and they said the interview invites should be out by the end of January.
I attended a King's information day last year and they stated that the certificate that I received from it would be sufficient for all universities in place of work experience....unfortunately that wasn't the case so I had to organise mine at the last minute. I only managed to get a day in a Dietetics department but I work with adults who have learning disabilities as a part-time job so I'm hoping that helps aswell!
Did you?
