Well I graduated with a sports, health, exercise and nutrition degree last year. Currently i've been working within mental health for the last six years (part time). In addition to this, i managed to visit two different dietetics departments (half day visits).
Your part time job sounds good and will most definitely help. However, its not just the experience that they look at. I've been told that its the personal statement and how passionate you are about wanting to do dietetics. So lets hope we have both done enough to guarantee a place.. Its just so competitive.
Anyway, all the best of luck and let me know if you get an interview at Chester, i'll also keep you updated.

Morning all,
Just though i'd give a quick update, Had my interview at Herts and god offered a conditional place (75 level 3 credits, 15 chem and 27 biology for all those studying access) Interview wasn't too bad, just the typical questions really, why dietetics, why here, what do you know etc...
Also got an interview at coventry this saturday, Any one else?

I'm just waiting for a reply from Plymouth and Leeds now.
I have a conditional offer from Cardiff and Coventry.

Nessy, the first lot of interviews for Chester was today! I'm still waiting for a reply myself. I did call Chester and was told that there is another interview date set for the 25th of this month. Hopefully should hear something by the end of this week, if not then i'd give them a ring.
