Hi AS, Thanks so much for your advice. I really want to study dietetics so hopefully I'll get in to one of the PG Dips that I've applied to. Good Luck with the Leeds information day, I hope they give you a place! Niamh |

Hi,
I received a letter from leeds today to say that they couldn't offer me a place as my degree (Nutrition and Health with Psychology) didnt have enough Physiology in it. I do have an interview for Chester this Thursday (25th), does anyone have any tips or info on what sort of things they may ask? Also has anyone heard from Glasgow or Kings College London?
Thanks. |

Hi - if you are having problems getting in first of all ask for some feedback - I teach on a nutrition degree and always offer feedback. If it is the physiololgy or maybe the lack of biochemistry that is the problem then check out your local uni and do a module then you have enough credits in the right subjects!
Hope that helps. |

| Hi Katarina, Thanks!! I am in my final year of a degree in Nutrition and Health with psychology, also for about the last year I have volounteered/worked for two eating disorder support services, so I think maybe its the experience of working and being able to relate to people that has got me the interviews?? its hard to say really what they are looking for but from speaking to my tutor at uni Leeds Met are looking for people who have top 1st grade degrees, and all the others are looking for people skills (obviously as long as you meet the entry requirements).
