Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone has heard back from leeds met regarding the pgDip dietetics course? The acknowledgement letter said we would hear from them at the beginning of Feb, as it's now the end of Feb...I'm assuming I've been unsuccessful or I'm just impatient! |

Hi,
In regards to the pgDip at Leeds, I recieved a letter telling me I was in the top 25% of applicants and have been invited to their open day. They have had over 250 applicants this year and still havn't made any offers but decided to invite the top 25% to the information day/open day. I'd contact them if you havn't heard anything.

Hey,
thanks for the advice, I did give them a ring on friday, they told me they still had 120 applications to look through, they have had over 250 for 30 places and I would hear from them in the next week or so! Fingers crossed but I reckon I may need some more relevant experience and apply again next year!

No Leeds don't interview, they are inviting the top 1/3 of people to an information day on the 19th of March and will decide after that.

I have been invited to the information day, got a letter this morning but I'm also a little confused; if they havn't offered places does this mean it is an informal interview or infact just an information day? |

It is just an information day giving more in dept information/details about the course, modules, course fee's etc just to see whether everyone in the top quarter will still want to progress their application.
After that, places will be decided on the strength of your application and personal statement just as Leeds have done in the past. Hope this helps and good luck at the information day.

Has anyone heard from Leeds re: the post grad? I know the next information day is not till the 19th March but just wondering if anyone that went to the first info day (feb 26th) has heard anything? This waiting is killing me!

Hi marley, i am in the same boat as you. i attended the information day on the 26th feb and i am still awaiting a reply :-) |

Hi,
There were over 60 people, I reckon they asked 120 roughly over 2 open days, they said decisions would be made within a few weeks by the end of March. They didn't make it sound very likely that many people would be offered a place as there are only 30 in total

| Well, i've just spoken to Leeds Met and they informed me that they would not be letting people know whether they have been successful or not until after the Easter break and they don't come back till the 12th April so the waiting continues. |

Hi,
Recieved a letter today saying that I have been offered a place on the pdDip at Leeds : ) Still can't believe I got in, but very happy indeed.
Just to let people know, I attended the first info day on the 26th of Feb.
