Hey guys,
I nearly had a heart attack there when I got an e-mail from University of Ulster, Coleraine about their interviews, I mistakenly thought I got one. The e-mail was just to inform me that they are on Monday 2nd April and they are currently in the process of short listing applications.
Has anyone heard back from any other Uni?

Well done Emma, Have you heard from any PG?
It's now 7 weeks since the closing date for Leeds and London Met. It's 8 weeks since the Chester closing date. Surely we will hear from them soon. Maybe next week....or has anyone already heard from these PG Dietetics?

thank you!! no i haven't heard off any PG's yet, I just assume if they are offering me an undergrad interview I have probably not been successful at postgrad, but i dont mind chester is where i would love to go! but dont want to get my hopes up too much!
other discussions have said that we are most likely to hear in feb havent they?
ohh could i also just ask what dress code the interview is? does everybody go smart in black trousers and shirt? dont want to be the odd one out!
thanks |

Hi,
Yes and next week is the start of February so hopefully we might hear something then! I would presume the undergrad and postgrad are viewed at by different people from the Dietetic department as they would be filling different degrees. So maybe you might get offers from both. Fingers crossed!
I've never had an interview for Dietetics but I think it's better to dress smart to be safe. I would wear a shift dress, tights and a cardie if I got one. Black trousers and shirt would be good too. Just not too casual I suppose!
Best of Luck!! CeeCee

Hi CeeCee,
Just to let you know I got a letter from Chester today offering me an interview for the PgD course on the 24th Feb - i'm so excited can't quite believe it! Really hope you get your letter soon. Now i've just got to prepare myself for the interview - quite scary, any tips from anyone would be very welcome!
Hope you hear soon x |

Hi emma1990, when did you send off your UCAS application form? I sent mine off few days before January deadline, and still not heard anything from any uni including Chester yet.. I am worried that the places may have filled up before I submitted the form.. |

Congratulations littlesp, I applied to pg but didn't get an interview. Just wondering what you have done in order to strengthen your application and what your undergraduate degree is in. I'm currently working as a dietetic assistant, a job which I got between applying and finding out : ( also worked as a community food worker. Is this your first application? Sorry for lots of questions.
Any help would be much appreciated as I want to be a dietitian more than anything else! |

Hi littlesp, well done!! I hope because I'm in Ireland that the letter is delayed in the post!! Well I'll tell myself that anyway!! Have you applied to anywhere else?
Best of Luck with your interview, let us know how you get on!

| P.S Hannah you might have got an interview, there is still hope until you get a letter saying you were unsuccessful, that's what I tell myself :-) |
