Hi all, I am also in 2nd year with Dan and just wanted to let you know that there is a new version of the Manual being released in July this year... I assume it contains very similiar information ... http://www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndSearch/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=9780470656228

Hi guys, I have been accepted on the course with a conditional offer (I'm well happy!). Good luck for those still waiting for a reply!

Thanks for the info about how many lectures you have at Marjons, that was something I was wondering about.

I will be attending the open day on the 24th March, see you there!

Hi again, was just wondering what people were thinking about for accomodation? Are you going to go for a place by the main uni or by marjons? And are you going for halls or a shared house? Do you think it's too early to be looking for places to live yet?

Hi, regarding the accommodation, I want to stay in a house which only has a bedroom (not shared house), does anyone know if there is any house of this type in Plymouth?

Yea I would think so although I would think more uncommon and more expensive. Worth a look on a few sites, I was thinking the same thing initially but then thought I would prefer to save the money :)

Yay! Congratulations :) My boyfriend is currently studying at Plymouth so we have recently arranged to move into a shared house with 5 of his friends. It's in Greenbank which is a short walk to the main campus, shopping centre and night-life. Mutley is another location close to everything. I wouldn't suggest living close to the Marjons Campus as there is really nothing there. I believe Halls are offered to younger students as there is only enough for 60% of first years.

This may help too http://www1.plymouth.ac.uk/accommodation/Pages/default.aspx

Hey, congrats on all your offers!!!!

I have not heard anything from Plymouth and am really worried I applied in December and since you guys have got offers I'm scared all the places will be gone.

Does anyone from previous years know when u should hear by considering the open day is so soon, is that something you have to be invited to? I just really want Plymouth and don't want to get my hopes up!!!!

thanks Faye

Hey Faye

I found out round the last week in February last year so don't get too worried yet, still lots of time to be given an offer!

So basically she said my app is on hold, I really hope on high on the list, fingers crossed

Thanks again Lisa

Hi everyone,

I've also got a conditional offer from Plymouth. I think I would also be classed as a 'mature' student as I'll be 23 when I start the course. I'm so relieved to hear that I won't be the odd one out as that was my main worry when applying to undergrad courses!
I've also applied to some postgraduates as well but am really pleased to get an offer from Plymouth as its 3 years.

Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear. I will see some of you on the 24th hopefully :)

Alice
