Hey,
I'm on the waiting list for QMU. Just wondering if there are people who got a place but won't be taking it? Due to getting somewhere else etc.
Or has someone ever gotten a place after being on the waiting list?
I'm not sure of my chances are of getting a place.

I am on the waiting list too. I emailed last week to asked where abouts I was on the list but they were not allowed to tell me. To be honest Im not sure I could afford the fees ha. Suppose I'll worry about that if I get accepted.
Also waiting on a reply from from UWIC but not holding my breath as my interview didnt go too well.

Im not sure about this year but I think there were 10 last year. Is QMU your last chance for dietetics this year? No one on this discussion seems to have got a place or applied to QMU. Im sure a few people wont accept their place due to the fees.I only applied for QMU and UWIC but will def apply to them all next year if Im unsuccessful for UWIC.

Hey all,
i have not heard anything form QMU!!! I rang and they said only a small bunch of people had found out about their app and that they would be letting others know soon!!! Has anyone got a place or interview for here?? This is the last place i have to wait and hear from so i really want to know soon so i can move on and think about my plan for next year!! |

Hi Faye 2, as far as I know there are no interviews for qmu, decisions are made on your application. From reading the discussion I have only come across Cee Cee who is also on the waiting list like myself. Maybe those who have been accepted haven't heard yet.

I e-mailed QMU today, response
Applications are still with the academic tutor for consideration. Each year we receive at least 200 applications for 10-12 places so it can take some time for the tutor to review all applications. You will be notified by email once they have made a decision. |

Hey,
I have been offered a place from the waiting list for QMU. Im absolutley delighted but the fees are scandalous. Time to start saving.
There's still hope for those on the waiting list, it's a long summer and more people will drop out because of the fees and other students getting places in other unis. I have heard 4 or 5 people from the waiting list got QMU last year.
I'm also on the waiting list for Cardiff but haven't heard a thing.
