Hi, I'm applying to study Nutrition and Dietetics this September, and I can't get any work experience shadowing a Dietician, so an admission tutor at a uni said I should ask one why they became one, and why they enjoy it etc. So if anyone studies Dietetics at uni, or is a qulaified Dietician, then I'd really appreciate some answers.
Thank you! |

Personally, I have always had a interest in nutrition so the subject alone was appealing. On top of this having had experience caring for those less fortunate encouraged a want for a satisfying career aiding others to health. Finally the underpinning continuous learning on the course and following registration, means you never stop developing on knowledge, skills in the field and skills adaptable to other areas of life. For example communication skills and reflecting on own experiences. I hope this helps :). Mike |
